The challenge

The client is a company specializing in the urgent buyout of over-indebted and distressed businesses and in advising on business sales to foreign and domestic investors, with 15 years of practice in M&A and crisis management. The landing page’s audience is a business owner in an actual crisis: debt, the threat of insolvency, and the need to sell the company fast. For someone in that position, the key questions aren’t about the service in general but about specific fears: is this legal, will I have to pay upfront when I have no money anyway, and what happens to the company and its obligations after the deal. The landing page needed to answer these questions on the very first screen, not bury them deep in the site.

What we did

A headline that names the problem, not the service
We put a direct question on the first screen — “Nezvládáte firemní krizi?” (“Can’t handle a company crisis?”) — instead of “we buy out companies,” so visitors immediately know they’ve come to the right place, even if they don’t know the term “distressed business buyout.”

Seven benefits that address specific objections
We formulated seven arguments instead of a generic “we’re professionals”:

  • legal compliance of the process
  • full confidentiality
  • resolving complex situations — backed by 15 years of experience in M&A and crisis management
  • a fast sale
  • end-to-end service from consultation to closing
  • real buyers, not shell companies
  • payment due only once the deal is completed

An FAQ citing specific laws
We answered the three questions that most often hold an owner back — whether it’s more advantageous to sell an over-indebted company or file for bankruptcy, whether selling and buying out indebted companies is even legal, and exactly how the deal works from a legal standpoint (citing the new Civil Code and the Business Corporations Act No. 90/2012 Sb.) — instead of vague assurances that “it’s all legal.”

Payment terms as a standalone trust argument
We clearly stated the payment model — a fee invoiced only once the deal is completed, aside from a 10% deposit at contract signing — removing the main barrier for a client who is already short on cash.

A request form and free consultation
We placed a call to action to submit a request through the landing page form, offering a free consultation — with no upfront commitment for an owner who hasn’t yet decided.

Responsive layout and a contact block
We built the landing page with correct display on smartphones and tablets, plus a contact block with two phone numbers, an email address, and the Prague office address.

Result

The landing page turns the frightening topic of “selling a company in crisis” into an understandable, legal procedure — a direct question instead of an abstract service, seven specific arguments, and an FAQ citing the law defuse the owner’s main fears before they ever call, while the “pay after the deal” model removes the last barrier to reaching out.
