Website for car rental RUNWELL

runwellrentacar.com
  • Industry: car rental
  • Type: corporate website

The challenge

RUNWELL is a car rental company operating not only in Prague but across the EU, including one-way rentals (pick up the car in one country, return it in another). Its audience is international, so the website needed to be multilingual, with a car catalog and a working online booking tool — off-the-shelf form plugins weren’t up to the job, so a custom build was required.

What we did

Custom booking plugin
We built a standalone WordPress plugin for car booking — the client selects a car, rental dates, and pickup/drop-off points (including one-way rentals across different EU countries) and submits the request directly on the site, without being redirected to third-party services.

Multilingual support for an international audience
We built the site in multiple language versions (at minimum Russian and English) — clients from different EU countries can use the site and book in their own language.

WordPress site with a custom design
We built the site on the WordPress CMS with an original design — the company can update content (fleet, prices, terms) on its own, without a developer.

Mobile-responsive design
We ensured correct display on smartphones and tablets — for renters comparing options and booking from their phone.

Contact form and partner slider
We added a contact form for questions outside the booking flow, plus a partner logo slider.

Result

The site covers the entire journey of an international renter on a single platform — from choosing a car, dates, and EU-wide pickup/drop-off points to submitting a request in their own language — without phone calls or third-party services, while giving the company simple catalog and pricing management through WordPress.
