Free Voices Collective, a non-profit human rights organisation founded in the EU by human rights defenders, journalists and lawyers from the countries of the South Caucasus, needed a web presence: to explain its mission, publish news and materials, and give people a way to contact the team.
The client asked for a unique, modern design, convenient content management, correct display on mobile devices and tablets, a contact form and a news blog.
A structure built around the organisation’s needs
The site menu includes the Updates, Newsletter, Political Prisoners List, Submissions & Reports and Contacts sections, while the footer holds About, Impressum and Privacy Policy.
News blog
The Updates section works as a feed of publications on the situation of political prisoners and human rights, which the organisation’s team can add to on its own.
Political prisoners database
A dedicated page presents the database as cards showing name, occupation, date of arrest and status, with filtering and sorting.
Newsletter and contacts
The site has a newsletter subscription form with consent to the privacy policy, the organisation’s contact address and site search.
The site is live and works in English. The organisation now has its own public platform for news, its database and reports.
