The challenge

The client is Sofia Gloukh‘s translation agency, operating in Germany with written and interpreted translation across various fields, including sworn, technical, medical, and legal translation. In an industry where clients need to quickly confirm whether the agency handles their language pair and subject area — and aren’t willing to navigate a site in an unfamiliar language — the key task was to make the site understandable in several languages at once, with a clear description of services and a simple way to submit a request, instead of forcing visitors to call or write directly without even a ballpark price.

What we did

Custom design built for the translation agency’s brand
We developed a custom visual style for the site instead of a template solution, aimed at conveying trustworthiness and professionalism — important for a client entrusting the agency with official documents.

Three-language version of the site
We built three language versions of the site so German-, English-, and Russian-speaking clients could review the services and submit a request in their native language, without relying on the browser’s automatic translation.

Contact and service-order forms
We set up forms for inquiries and for placing a translation order right on the site, so clients can specify job details (document, language pair, subject area) without a first-step call to a manager.

Responsive layout for mobile and tablet
We prepared the site for correct display on mobile phones and tablets — a requirement the client specifically listed as mandatory.

Interactive elements and animations
We added animated and interactive elements to the site’s pages for a livelier feel, instead of static text-only presentation.

Built on MODX with an intuitive management system
We built the site on MODX with an admin panel that’s clear even to a client with no technical background — a separate requirement the client set for the project.

Result

The site gives translation agency clients three language versions and a direct order form instead of having to call and explain the job verbally — especially important in an industry where the client is often not a native speaker of the site’s language, and their request (sworn, technical, or medical translation) needs a clear description already at the inquiry stage.
